with dinner at 6:30 pm.
June 6, Wednesday – 9th Annual Spring Tea, Wednesday - Tea begins at 1 pm and tickets are $15. Lots of delicious Tea
Sandwiches and Desserts. Eleanor Mekis & Dolly Martin, Co-Chair this tea event. Please order your tickets early.

August 16, Thursday - General Meeting of the Historical Society at 7 pm at Union Presbyterian Church, 254 Shell Road in
Carneys Point. Special guest speaker to be announced. The public is invited to attend and admission is free. Light
refreshments will be served.
September 9, Sunday - Fall Open House at the Museum from 1 pm to 3 pm. Exhibit for the Fall re-opening of the Museum
- "Hometown Boys go to Wars!" - a salute to all in the Armed Services through the years and wars. The continued exhibit
from the spring opening will include items acquired since March. Admission is free and all are welcome to attend. Light
refreshments will be served.
October 6, Saturday - "Home Coming Day" from 10 am to 3 pm. Held on the grounds of the Historical Society Museum
located at 48 West Main Street in Penns Grove the event will include crafters, vendors, music, and self-guided museum
tours.

The Museum of The Historical Society of Penns Grove, Carneys Point and Oldmans has re-opened to the public.
A new exhibit entitled, "Hometown Boys Go to Wars!” focuses on our beloved Armed Forces.

Because of the success of the "SA-JA-RE Remembered" dance, plans are underway for another
dance this fall. This one will be "Dick Clark's Bandstand Remembered" and the tentative date is
September 14th. Please check back as the date gets nearer for more information.
